“CTE or Career and Technical Education give students the academic, technical and employability skills needed for postsecondary and workplace success.”

Career and Technical Education (CTE) is about doing, students in our programs take what they learn and apply it to something relevant to real life experiences. Whether it is building robots, preparing a gourmet meal or extracting DNA , these are some examples of our daily activities in our programs. CTE are hands on, and every program provides students the technical and academic skills they need to move forward in a career pathway. Each CTE program leads to a certification or industry credential. In addition to teaching our students the technical skills for a career, our programs instill the employability skills that will make them successful in their future occupation.  CTE is preparing our students to become the highly skilled workforce of our community, state and nation.
