Mr. G and Mr. Arthur hate that we are unable to be together in the classroom with you at this time, but we are dedicated to providing you with instruction and photography lessons that you can accomplish from the comfort and safety of your own residence. We are counting the days until we can get back to the classroom to continue our learning together, but until then please check the website weekly for assignments. Times are strange. Times are tough. Let’s continue to develop our skills and have some fun while we are at it.
All of you and your families are in our thoughts. We miss you. We REALLY miss each other. Let’s take some photos!
DUE ___ : Post 5 New Photographs Edited with LR Mobile
Now that we are comfortable with DSLR cameras, Lightroom, and Photoshop let’s apply those skills to using our everyday cameraphones more professionally. First, remember the basics:
LIGHTING is what matters most
COMPOSITION is at the heart of all great images
EDIT to perfect not correct (go take it again if something is wrong)
We will be using Adobe Lightroom CC Mobile. Your first assignment is to install the the app (it’s free!) to your phone and edit FIVE new photographs. Below are some helpful links and videos about using LR Mobile.
In photography, the golden hour is the period of daytime shortly after sunrise or before sunset, during which daylight is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky. The period of time shortly before sunrise and shortly after sunset is called the “magic hour,” especially by cinematographers.
Watch the videos and review the links Below. This week you will submit 5 golden hour photographs to your website using any camera that you have available to you. Have fun with it and push yourself to create unique images!
