In photography, the golden hour is the period of daytime shortly after sunrise or before sunset, during which daylight is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky. The period of time shortly before sunrise and shortly after sunset is called the “magic hour,” especially by cinematographers.
Watch the videos and review the links Below. This week you will submit 5 golden hour photographs to your website using any camera that you have available to you. Have fun with it and push yourself to create unique images!
Mr. Arthur and Mr. G will be available via email every day from 11AM-2PM.
We will hold regular office hours using ZOOM on Wednesdays from 10AM-11AM. This link will only work for students with tusd1 logins.
Good Morning Students!
Mr. G and Mr. Arthur hate that we are unable to be together in the classroom with you at this time, but we are dedicated to providing you with instruction and photography lessons that you can accomplish from the comfort and safety of your own residence. We are counting the days until we can get back to the classroom to continue our learning together, but until then please check the website weekly for assignments. Times are strange. Times are tough. Let’s continue to develop our skills and have some fun while we are at it.
All of you and your families are in our thoughts. We miss you. We REALLY miss each other. Let’s take some photos!

2. Please read and review assignment 1: Intro to mobile photography
