Birds Eye/Worms Eye

Birds Eye/ One of the strengths is that it made a cross out of the city.

Worms Eye/ One of the strengths is that it made the flowers look big.

Eye Level is the least engaging perspective because we already live our lives at eye level most of the time.

When outside, we should use all our time wisely and photograph only. When outside, we should NOT be on our phones nor interrupting other outside classes like P.E.

10: Simplicity and Mergers

  1. These 2 photos are Simplicity because there is nothing else that is distracting the main object.
  2. The quality of light for the first photo is Diffused Light & for the second photo, it is Direct Light.
  3. These photographs are successful because they both really show simplicity and are edited carefully.

  1. These 2 photos are Force Perspective/Mergers because they both show illusion in a way.
  2. They are both Direct Light. The first photo is a Silhouette.
  3. They are successful because we took our sweet time with these.

  1. The first photo is Simplicity & Rule of Thirds because it is a very simple picture yet, it fits the grid. The second photo is Rule of Thirds & Framing because the water/leaves are framing her and it fits the grid as well.
  2. The quality of light for the first photo is Diffused Light and the second photo is Direct Light.
  3. They are successful because they each fit two compositional guidelines.

10: Simplicity & Mergers Ex.

  • Simplicity because there is only a wall, flowers, and a stand in this photo/Diffused Light/It has the perfect lighting to give these flowers a pretty shine to them.

  • Simplicity because nothing is distracting from what they are showing out the plane window/Direct Light/This photo is satisfying to me yet so simple.

  • Symmetrical because it looks like a reflection in a mirror/Diffused Light/This photo is very interesting and took me a while to figure out what it really was.

  • Leading Line because this photo has dimension from the train tracks/Direct Light/Has the perfect exposure and contrast.

  • Forced Perspective because it looks like the girl is in the cup/Diffused Light/They really made it look like an illusion.

  • Forced Perspective because it looks like the man is eating the clouds/Direct Light/Once again a good illusion they did successfully.

16/20- All photos utilize a compositional guideline.

16/20- All photos are appropriate for this assignment.

  1. My photography has improved over the 3 past assignments because over those assignments, we have learned many compositional guidelines. Thats including, rule of thirds, asymmetrical, symmetrical, etc. Those guidelines have helped us get to where we are now.
  2. My best framing photograph is the Nike one because I think that it was pretty creative and something no one else did.
  3. My best line photograph is the building because I thought it was cool that you can see the building isn’t actually straight like we all think it is.

9:Composition 2-Practice

  1. Framing because the rock frames the flowers
  2. Diffused Light

  3. Successful because it really gives the picture dimension.

  1. Leading Line because the tower lines is what gives dimension to the picture.
  2. Diffused light/Silhouette

8:Shutter Speed

Rubric:

16/20: All photos are cropped, straightened and edited.

16/20: All photos have attention to visual arrangement.

16/20: All content is appropriate for this assignment.

  1. I am pretty comfortable with using Tv Mode, it’s nothing too crazy.
  2. With fast shutter speed, you are able to freeze action & with slow shutter speed, motion can be shown through blur.
  3. I am happiest with the second picture because I thought it was interesting how that man happened to be cleaning the floor with water.
  4. I believe I can improve my work by taking a little more time with the picture.

Composition 1

  1. This image is Symmetrical Balance because if you split the photo down the middle vertically, it looks like it reflects like a mirror almost. It is Diffused Light because there are no hard shadows.
  2. This image is Symmetrical Balance as well because this image would look like its a mirror as well if you split it down the middle vertically. It is Diffused Light due to no hard shadows.

  1. This image is Rule of Third because when putting a grid, the main subject of the picture (the lady) would be right at the bottom left corner. It is Direct Light because there are hard shadows.
  2. This image is Rule of Third because the main subject of the image (the man) is right at the point of the bottom left corner. It is Diffused Light because there are no hard shadows.

  1. This image is Asymmetrical Balance because when splitting the image in half vertically, the birds balance out each side of the picture. It is Diffused Light because there are no hard shadows.
  2. This image is Asymmetrical Balance because if you split the image in half vertically, the one plane balances out all the other planes. It is Direct Light because there are a few hard shadows.
